New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers
Join former 20+ year prosecutor, now partner at Powers & Santola, LLP, Kelly Wolford, for this overview of criminal prosecution basics. Although criminal cases garner much media attention, what happens behind the scenes of a police investigation and subsequent prosecution can be a mystery to the non-criminal practitioner. This course will shed light on criminal practice from basic traffic tickets to felony cases. Attendees will also learn how to navigate police or prosecution involvement in a civil case.Expand summary
