Pitocin Mismanagement: What Lawyers Should Know, Questions Women Should Ask - Long Island

Registration is closed for this event
This seminar will cover the evolution of standards governing the management of Pitocin. It will also cover the mechanism of ischemic and traumatic brain injuries suffered by infants whose labor and delivery has been subjected to excessive uterine activity as a result of Pitocin mismanagement. The lecture will explain why indicia of perinatal asphyxia (Apgars and Blood Gases) are largely irrelevant to injuries from excessive uterine activity.

Join us on March 6th 2018. Any lawyer who may become pregnant, loves someone who may become pregnant or represents an injured child whose labor and delivery was induced or augmented by the often used and very useful drug Pitocin should attend this seminar as one of the state’s leading trial attorneys explains how its mismanagement can cause injury.

“While I am happy to instruct the lawyers, it is more important that word gets out to women who are or may become pregnant.”  James Wilkens Best Lawyers Malpractice Lawyer of the Year NYC 2015.
