Former 2nd Department Presiding Justice Alan Scheinkman will join trial attorney Chris Holbrook, Esq. and Hearing Officer Jennifer Herscovici, Esq., to discuss the differences between finding justice through trial, in court or at private mediation. Topics will include: the pros and cons of resolving a case in the courtroom vs. ADR, discussing the steps in preparing for a case before a jury or mediator, and the logistical differences involved and more. Our presenters will share their insights for success based on years of experience from the perspective of the Bench, the trenches of the courtroom, and the negotiation table.
